Meet the Artists

Helen Daniels holds a degree in fine arts and works primarily in painting, stained glass, mosaics, and pottery. She currently supervises the Recreation Division of the Community Services Department for the City of Pembroke Pines.  In her position, she creates and oversees programs, classes, and events.  Additionally, she teaches classes in stained glass and mosaics.

Leroy Daniels holds a Master’s degree in Art Education from Penn State University.   He works primarily in photography and pottery and has over 40 years of experience with Miami-Dade Public Schools where he served as both an art educator and Art Department Head.  He has taught children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings and despite being retired continues to teach pottery in his spare time.
